An escape from the Wrath of Winter

Often I feel guilty that I have left the challenges of winter behind and reached out for points south  as
I remember hearing the voice of my Grandmother who often

reminded me " Dee, live each day to it's fullest".. I try to recall her advice to work very hard and reap the rewards that will follow.

My Little Pink Nosed Poser.....SIMBA...

In life we are offered unexpected gifts that sometimes change our lives in beautiful ways.  Simba was one of three stray ferral kittens
found in Milford that I had no intention of adopting.. He was probably 5 or 6 weeks old and fit in the palm of my hand when I reluctantly brought him home with me.  He has grown into a sweet (and sometimes grouchy) loving (and sometimes will bite if I pet him too much) wonderful boy. He chirps at the birds, bullies his adopted brother Reggie and owns my heart...SIMBA

There is nothing like a Fresh Tomato, Ask Iggy...

On a recent trip down the Beautiful Keys of Florida I stumbled upon a waterside restaurant where hundreds of Iguana gathered
in the trees and on the waterbanks.  This brave fella decided to see what was being served for lunch.

One....Lonely Canadian Goose adrift.

There are times when we are in a space surrounded by dozens of people and yet we are feeling totally alone. It is the perfect time to appreciate the person you are and get to know yourself.
